Donations

What a nice start of the year! I’ve just received news from SourceForge and Paypal that a happy user of PHP Shell has donated $50 to me. Very cool!

A simple GNU I’ve already used the money… for another donation: I’m now a member of the Free Software Foundation, better known as FSF. I registered to pay $60 a year since I’m still a student, and in return I get a book from RMS and a good conscience :-) If you use this button: [FSF Associate Member] to register, then I will get credit. When three people have registered through me, then I get to choose a personal greeting which RMS himself will record for me to use on an answering machine! How weird is that?! :-)

This is a cool idea, shells is what we need, to keep information free and accessible.

I have my own open PHP Shell, called phpMini, however, its for terminal access, not web access, however, I could imagine writting a package for web access, esspecially for more advanced features.

You may notice 2 errors, 1 that uses a system(); for linux, it uses clear, you can change it to clr, the next version will include its own clear function that isn’t environment dependent. However, the purpose is simply to create a project that allows you to write emulators, and use them in any environment.

Maybe we should talk more… you’ve probably got my email and have access to my blog, if it interests you, I believe souly in open development!

    Peace.

Supporting FSF is a great idea :)!

When I get $50 I will spend it on a membership - - And you’ll be only 2 credits off to get that personal greeting :-D

Woohoo, thanks Amir :-) I’ll look forward to that… I don’t even have an answering machine yet, maybe I should start saving :-)
