I’ve just received two new books from Amazon.
They are both computer books, the most ambitious of them is “Beginning
Linux
Programming“
and it is rather advanced. I’ve only read a few pages so far, but it looks
very promising! It will deal with all sorts of programming-tasks under
Linux, mostly c-oriented but will also touch things like GTK+, Pearl and
CGI-programming.
The other book I bought is “Evil Geniuses in a Nutshell : A User Friendly
Guide to World
Domination“.
Its a cartoon about the daily lives in a Linux company — very funny, if
you have the technical background to understand the jokes.

My site is definitely heading in the right direction. I’ve been rearranging
thing a bit, and I’ve taken some screenshots showing of
EFM and e in general.

Pyh — I’ve made it! I got 9 in the German exam. The idea behind the
Danish grade-system is, that the average grade should be 8. If you get 9,
then you are a little better that the average, and if you get 7, yes —
you guessed it, then you are a little worse that the average.
I must say, that I’m glad it’s over. Now I can get back to more important
matters…

Now, afterwards it doesn’t seam so bad :-)
I got, what properly correspond to an A in the English grade-system. In the
Danish system it was the grade 11. The maximum is 13, but it is only given
under very special conditions. There is no 12, to make a 13 stand even
more out.

Now here comes the fun part: Today I have my first oral exam, in math. But
since Kristian and I have studied the last few
days, I’m pretty confident, that it will go all-right.
