I’m back

I’m back from the trip to Egholm. Fortunately I got a good nights sleep last night, so I’m not as tired as Cookie. We had a great time, so I’ve only read a little bit of the book I brought with me.

A couple of crufty guys brought a TV along with them. They had also brought about 14 hours of The Simpsons with them, since the TV had a built-in VCR. So I had a chance to catch up on the episodes that I’ve missed.

A little trip

I’m going on a little trip this weekend. It’s nothing bit — it’s just me and the rest of my class who have rented a cottage on a little island near Aalborg, called Egholm.

I hope it’ll be fun, but as a precaution, I’ll bring a book with me that I’ve borrowed from Cookie: Professional PHP Programming. It should be interesting to read it.

The Blue Book

Today Kristian (Cookie) and I are writing some text to what it known in Danish as the Blue Book. Every class in the gymnasium writes something about the people in the class, and this is collected into a Blue Book.

Unfortunately the other two in our little group is missing — this means that Kristian (Cookie) and I are free to write about all the stupid things they have done… :-)

A blizzard

The winter came — and went again. The last five days or so have been really cold here in Denmark. And we’ve had a lot of snow also. But now it’s started to thaw, which means that you can’t step outside without getting your feet wet… You can find much more information about this exciting development here, at my friend Kristian’s page :-)

1 Year Anniversary

Gimpster.com is now one year old — I know this because I’ve just received the bill for the next six months :-)

After I’ve made PHP Weather and my PHP Tutorial, I’ve received tons of positive feedback — thanks a lot. Those two projects together with the other things I have here at Gimpster.com have also made it possible for me to serve almost 100,000 pages the first year. Amazing!
