Evening rain

It’s raining a little right now and it’s getting dark outside. I’ve just been for a walk in the rain — I’ve found out that a little walk helps me clear my mind. It’s refreshing to go for just a little walk around the neighbourhood of [Skejbygård][]. So instead of just sitting in front of my computer without anything particularly interesting to do, I go for a walk. I’ve even heard that it should be healthy to walk around like that…

Tonight the rain also did its part to cool my brain, and it was particularly nice to get away from the smell of French fries which filled my little appartment after my dinner… That’s the downside of having a kitchen and a living-room without any seperation: It’s hard to go somewhere else :-) But then on the other hand: if I didn’t have my own kitchen, then I would have to do the dishes every night instead of just doing them once every few days.

Don’t go…

I saw IMDB:Reign of Fire (2002) today together with Andreas Danielsen and Lars Petersen from my class as University of Aarhus. To put it short: it’s an action movie with a weak plot and that’s about it, so there’s really no need to for you to go and see this movie…

One of the strange things about the movie is that it doesn’t bother to explain the details of how the dragons managed to destory the Earth. You see how our main character is present when they awake, but then the movie jumps forward 20 years to a time where the dragons rule the Earth. It simply places you right in the middle of the action where our main character has to defeat the dragons. It would have been nice to have had some more background.

Saw IMDB:The Bourne Identity (2002) today

Today I went and saw IMDB:The Bourne Identity (2002) together with Jesper Klintø and Christina Strøhl from my hallway here at [Skejbygård][] and Louise, Camilla and Kira. We had talked about seeing the movie for some time, and it turned out that today was the last day it was running.

I liked the movie a lot. It’s a solid action movie with all the things you would expect from an action movie: a nice car chase, good fight scenes, a hero that can deal with almost everything, and some high-tech scenes. The movie also had some moments where everybody in the movie theater held their breath because the music signaled that the bad guys could come any moment now… and when they finally came, everybody jumped from their seats!

As in most other action movies, then there’s also a love story in the movie — the love story in this particular movie is somewhat weak, but it helps drive the movie forward. So, all in all I like the movie, and I think you should go see it if you still have the chance.
