University is great!
I’ve now had my first full week at the University of Aarhus and I like it! The mathematics is interesting: we’re starting with matrices and Euclidean spaces in one course and the complex numbers in the other math course. Computer Science is pretty easy for me, as I already know how to program, but it’s fun nevertheless. We’re using Java which is easy for me to learn as it is very similar to PHP.
I’ve also found a place to live in �rhus — it’s called Skejbygård Kollegiet. It’s almost brand new, it was built in 1994, and has a broadband Internet connection. Right now I’m using a 56K modem which is terrible slow! I’m really starting to look forward to the move which will be on the 15th this month.
