New books
I’ve just received two new books from Amazon. They are both computer books, the most ambitious of them is “Beginning Linux Programming“ and it is rather advanced. I’ve only read a few pages so far, but it looks very promising! It will deal with all sorts of programming-tasks under Linux, mostly c-oriented but will also touch things like GTK+, Pearl and CGI-programming.
The other book I bought is “Evil Geniuses in a Nutshell : A User Friendly Guide to World Domination“. Its a cartoon about the daily lives in a Linux company — very funny, if you have the technical background to understand the jokes.
